Hello, I'm new to the group, I'm using Logic 4.8 on a Dell 8100 running Windows XP, and I can't get Microsoft GS to play through my RME Hammerfall DSP soundcard rather than the laptop speakers. I specify the output as the Hammerfall analogue out in the control panel, but to no avail. Regular audio output (recorded wav files, ect) all run through the Hammerfall just fine... I'm also seeing an error quite frequently, which stops all audio coming out of the Hammerfall: ASIO System Overload: The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. I don't understand at all because I can have an arrangement w/ NO audio in it and plress play and get this. A view of CPU activity at the time the message pops up reveals that the CPU is nowhere near max usage. Any thoughts out there? Thanks! Poly
