You don't want to try to imply that Logic 5.1 as shipped with LC will crash, burn and die if used w/o a LC unit on the MIDI bus, will it? If so, sorry LC owners... If the problems with 5.1 are bearable for LC users, they should be bearable for us. And if there are some additional bug fixes, fine, issue 5.1.1 and 5.1.2, even 5.1.2.4.75 etc. but have them on the web site. It's all about incremental, swift updates, not long waits for huge chunks. That's what internet, electronic distribution, etc. are all about: NOT HAVING TO WAIT, or at least not longer than it takes to download a few megabytes over a DSL line. Logic5 w/o Demo Song, Samples and Tutorial is just about 20MByte installed, something that's perfectly within acceptable size for download. Learn something from Apple and Adobe, where updates are automatically downloaded and installed, if the user chooses that option. I don't even want to see a 5.1 CD-ROM, it's a waste of plastic. I want web access to the update, and I don't see why anyone should have to wait, if the software is good enough to be released at all. And released it is, with each and ever LC unit shipping. (Unless LC being available is just a Myth.)
