This is a reply to #25595.
This is a classic example of apple/logic having its head you know where by including functions that are mysterious to activate or employ. This should just work, out of the box,maybe via a tap tempo button on the transport. you don't have to create a key command for "Play" right? I read a tutorial on the web but still didn't have the patience to get it to work. I just opened protools and used the identify beat command to ID the tempo of the temp track I was replacing. I think you need to assign a different key as the midi trigger and then press your tap tempo key command and then tap the assigned midi key. If you figure it out please let me know!
