If you have the blue XSKey, buy the US$199 upgrade to Logic
Studio 8 and install it on your MacBook. This will contain
everything your copy of Logic5 had and a zillion more things.
Even that is above and beyond "hobbyist", let alone spending
thousands of dollars on a Mac tower and PT HD.
