Subject: Logic 8 +dae/dtdm
Message #25464
I have everything working but it seems like my intel mac needs to warm up or something cause I get alot of tdm overload messages in the beginning of every session.....anyone knows why? I have hd3 so I shouldn´t get any cpu spikes at all when having 3 dsp-cards running? Maybe it just is a matter of setting the preferences correct, any clue? When I bounce and for instance send the file to a drummer for additional drumtracks it does not synq to the given tempo if using another system, what´s that all about? Latency after bouncing seems weird, doesn´t it? When I record audio I can only record enable in dae and not in dtdm, why is that?...or why not core? And if I place the file on a dtdm track after recording it doesn´t synq!!! Has this something to do with protools latency compansation that affects logic somehow? One last thing: I heard that you need to have a dedicated disc for dae and one for dtdm and one for Logic.. How do I do that???
