Message #25402
This is a reply to #25401.
Although I recently migrated to a Apogee/Symphony sollution, let me just chime in with my experiences regarding recording paths in L8. It seems that your autoload needs to have "No Audio Recording Path" selected under settings/recording for logic to "autodirect" your audio to the relevant folder. If something is selected there it defenitely goes there AND get's copied to the relevant project folder when you hit save. Defenitely not good if it, as in my case, ends up on the desktop, in terms of disc effiency and so forth... I ended up creating a whole new autoload to get back to "No Audio Recording Path". But then I heard from Jim F @ sonikmatter that all you need to do is open your autoload and uncheck "include assets" and save the autoload again! Now, how this relates to the DAE past 33, 65 etc. I don't know but it might be relevant. I'll keep my TDM rig on Logic 7.
