Logic 8 can't set record filename anymore. You have to name every track first. Not good. I mean, if you're going to record a guitarist on an unknown number of tracks for the rest of the day, you just want to set a location and a name, and record away on as many tracks as you want. No need to remember to name every new track, unless you want all your files to be Audio 1, Audio 2, Audio 3... In L7 you have the choice between setting a filename and "use audio object name for filename". That's perfect, so they had to remove it. Was it to advanced for potential ProTools converts ?? ;-) Reported to Feedback, if you feel the same, please report again. M
