Hi Guys, The RME Fireface 800 is very impressive. In am going to keep my HD system for a while, because I too have projects that I might want to re-visit in the near future... but for my extra two cents worth.... Since deleting TDM from my setup for a week now, I am amazed at how well my system works now. Most of (nearly all of) those problems disappear straight away. Gee, Logic Pro is quite a nice app running in it's native mode! And I am achieving so much more soft-synth/ sampler/plug ins now. No crashes. No kernal panics. Joy. I run almost all audio through two Amek CIBs before going to the Fireface, which probably helps. But the AD/DA on the RME is extremely impressive. If anyone wants to ask other questions, I am happy to answer. Tony
