Hi Matt, I have updated to Live 6 but I must admit I have not looked at it
lately.
I don't have much use for the whole warping thing these days as I'm doing a
lot of live
drums.
I think I could safely say that there would be phase issues with overheads
and room mikes
if you tried to warp multi tracked drums.
But for a load of other stuff I think Live is an incredible app and I used
to run it with Logic
and ProTools all the time.
It's very easy to join that list "The Womb" and there is much to
be learned there. Also good
old "Gearslutz.com" is very informative.
As far as the attitude of a lot of the posters.......a lot of it is bravdo
and "boys club"
mentality. But there's no ill will meant and as per usual with any list, if
you go to some of
the users home pages you will discover that there are as many newbies as
pros.
The proof is always in the tracks!!
