I¹m with Andy. My proposal: Look for a up to date Mac, run Logic on it
and
lightpipe everything into your Mix system running Pro Tools. It¹s not
such a
big investment as a new HD rig and it makes your Pro Tools system
independent from all the cpu-heavy things that come and go in the native
world. Even I¹m using a HD rig myself I am sure you can work another
five to
ten years with your Mix system in that configuration. It¹s rock
solid...
