Are you talking about using it as an effects processor? If that¹s the
case
you could get a digi 001 or 002 and connect via lightpipe into an adat
bridge (good chance you already have one) and get 8 channels of send/return.
A good transition strategy you might consider thpugh is getting a good G5
(PCIE) and run Logic on it (or Performer) and synch it to your TDM Rig. It
won¹t solve your plug in issues but it will smooth your transition to a
HD
rig.
