PT LE with RTAS in general has never been as efficient as, say, Logic in native mode, so you shouldn't count on it too much if you want to make large sessions with lots of VIs or heavy plugs... To me it's either going native with the Symphony or Ensemble or switching to PT software... Just MMHO though...
