I'm thinking of stopping with the combination DAE+DTDM and switch to DAE+Core audio+Motu 828 MKII. My questions: - Does core audio with 828 MKII sounds better than DTDM with 192? - Is DAE+Core audio more stable than DAE+DTDM? - Is it sufficient that I install the Motu Core Audio driver and connect the 828 MKII with firewire to my mac? - What about clock with the combination 828MKII , 192, 2x96i, 1x96? I heard about connecting the 192 and the 828MKII with lightpipe. My questions: - How do I have to do make this connection? One way lightpipe? - Do I keep with a lightpipe-connection at my 192 all analog 8 in-and 16 outputs for DAE? - Do I have to change settings in the hardware setup settings of my 192? - Can I use lightpipe at 96khz? - What are the advantages of a lightpipe-connection in stead of connecting the 828MKII just with firewire?
