Yes I bought a mac pro quad a hd2 and logic pro based on the info
from apple that this system would be compatible ! Very annoyed to
find out it only works with core audio surely this is a
misrepresentation from apple's side. Some kind of pressure needs to
be applied to apple to stop them miss-advertising these products and
to fix this problem now and not charge those loyal customers who
bought this system on their recommendation for the upgrade or fix.
Sorry about the rant so peeved with apple about this it has totaly
slowed my work rate in the studio GRRRRRR
