This is a reply to #24404.
So today I try the Export Tracks as Audio and guess what. They sound fine?!? So now I will proceed as if Export Tracks as Audio really does work. I'll just keep an eye on the process by inverting and canceling out at least one of the tracks to verify everythings solid...
