Hello all,
a number of you have contacted me about the bug in our TDM/RTAS synth called
Synth
One where the presets shipped with the product are viewable in Pro Tools,
but not in
Logic.
Well, a Logic User (who will be getting a glow in the dark McDSP t-shirt
when he sends me
mailing address) emailed me yesterday with the fix.
We renamed the Presets folder to "--Presets--", as well as the
overview patch folder to "--
Overview--". Now I thought this was a really clever way to insure
those folders appeared
first in the list, but dang, did it screw things up for you folks. Plug-In
settings folder with
"--" appended to the beginning of their names are apparently not
viewable in Logic.
Good grief sorry about that.
Anyways, the fix is to remane the "--Presets--" and
"--Overview--" folder to just "Presets"
and "Overview" to see all the 500+ sounds that come with Synth
One. Woohoo !!
Ok now all of you go demo this thing !!! No AU (yet), but dang, a TDM synth
will offload
some use from your Logic rigs. And now ours at least comes with some
presets !!
Thanks for reading.
