Hi Eric, yes i've been doing the same but using the direct out of the g4 isn't the best for sound quality! also files such as REX won't audition in this way. do you have an interface other than a digi connected for Core Audio? if so does the finder use this for auditioning? i suppose that would prevent the interence i'm getting through a cheap mini jack to RCA cable!
