Subject: Re: [L-TDM] Firewire alternative to ESB?

This is a reply to #18101.
Yes, you need to run the core audio driver I think MOTU has a custom one you need to install. But you misunderstood about core audio drivers and DAE they can be used together OK. What does not work is to use three drivers at once. You can use core + DAE, or DTDM + DAE, but not all three together. * Dave -- -- David Gordon Composer/Producer www.sequoiarecords.com On 10/29/04 9:56 AM, "ealton04" <edlogic@...> wrote: > > > I've been experiencing ESB trouble (buzzing then quit, distorted > sound..) like many others in both Logic 6&7, since all my card > slots are full (HD3 system) I'm looking for a Firewire alternative. > I'm considering either the MOTU 828MKII or the M Audio 1814. > Both are standalone Firewire in ADAT light pipe out interfaces. > Has anybody been using either of these with TDM systems > having any luck?
