Yes, you need to run the core audio driver I think MOTU has a custom
one
you need to install.
But you misunderstood about core audio drivers and DAE they can be
used
together OK. What does not work is to use three drivers at once.
You can use core + DAE, or DTDM + DAE, but not all three together.
