Have you selected the "include non-note events" function in the
matrix window menu? When this option is selected, the
controller data moves with the notes in the matrix window.

MIDI functionality, reduxBasic MIDI feature request:Would like to
be able to select an area of time in the Matrix Edit window and
cut/copy/paste not just note data but controller data as well.
Example - I record a MIDI piano part with sustain pedal. moving
parts around ion the matrix editor orphans the sus pedal from
the note data. Same could be said of any performance gestures
on the pitch bend, mod wheel, etc.In StudioVision (or DP I
believe) one could choose to select just notes, or could select
across a region of time to include all data within the track. In fact,
on could keep the Strip Chart/controller view open below the
notes (a la Hyperdraw in the Matrix) and chose to display
multiple controllers, and select particular ones. In Logic,
cut/copy/paste of the Hyperdraw is totally independent of the note
data. This was even doable back in Master Tracks Pro days . .
