I know that auditioning is handled by the Direct I/O side of DAE/Logic, so it must be this that is playing up. You can get around it by deselecting 'DAE Fileselector for 'Add Audio File...'' in the Audio Hardware and Drivers, DAE section. Unfortunately, you get the slightly less useful Logic version instead of the DAE one which has no meters, no space-bar-play and no counter. -- The best of times to you all... Pants
