This is a reply to #11207.
More happening. I have been shooting e-mails back and forth with E-magic and Waves support. The final word from both: allocate a lot of memory to Logic. And I did: I gave a preferred size of 400 000 KB to Logic and suddenly it stopped crashing with Waves when restarted. They say that Waveshell needs a lot of memory. The only thing that I find strange is that Pro-Tools 5.3.1 can run with a preferred size of 50 000 KB and still manage to run Waves plug- in fine. Does it means that Logic doesn't handle memory as well as Pro-Tools? I do not know. But then again Logic does much more when Direct TDM and Rewire are enabled, which might justify more memory. Thanks to E-Magic and Waves support teams for their fast and usefull help. Michel
