Subject: moving to logic tdm (mix)
Message #10936
I've been a logic user for close to 2 years now and am moving over to a used mix system. I was previously using an rme 9652 (asio). I've been keeping track of the list for several months now - but am wondering if there are any pitfalls I may not be aware of? I'll be using an LC, Logic 5 platinum, esb (coming today!), g4 500mhz, mix + 888|24. I tend to use waldorf attack, exs24, and various vst plugs (psp, etc) a lot but also outboard synths/guitar/bass guitar/vocals. Any advice as i get into pro tools hardware for the first time? Like will i easily run out of power with only the mix core? I know its a rather general question - so im trying to offer some information on what my setup will be. Thanks! -Evan
