Subject: Asio driver for motu 424 not found(LAW)
Message #6526
Hey guys. I have this problem in Logic Platinum 5.5.1 in XP(havent got myself a mac yet...)but I still hope anyone here can help me out on this one. I got a really nice price on a used Motu 424 with two 2408mkII and bouhgt it to replace my old 324. After deinstalling the motu 324 and innstalling the 424 card(and the latest driver from motu.com)the asio driver doesn't show in the asio driver panel in LAP. Everything else works just fine(both easi mme and the wavedriver). I find the asio driver much more efficient than the easi and I prefer to use it as I've always done. Tried trashing everything(the logic prf, win.ini, autoload)but still no change. Anyone? -ljthewizard

Create 12 folders in Finder, name them after the months then order them by date created? On 27 Apr 2006, at 13:51, Roman Pirie wrote: > I don't want to do that. I read something about an AMD chip in some Macs that is incompatible with some RME cards. I'm sure the RME site has more info on that in its FAQ.

Subject: JV1010 synching
Message #6530
Hi, everyone I'm new to this site, but it seems that i may get the help i need. I am currently using the Roland JV1010 and there are some preset sounds on it that are considered "pulsating" like raggatronic (120 bpm). The problem is I can figure out how to change the pulse so that it is even with the midi tempo i want which is 108 because I am synching that tempo to some other audio. Any idea how i can slow the pulse down from 120 to 108?

Subject: [L-OT] Band-in-a-Box 12 directly into LP7.1 in OS 10.2+
Message #6534
Group, I've used BIAB version 8 with OS9 and was able to use my midi synths to receive the BIAB generated tracks. This was accomplished by routing these tracks thru my MTP interface. I was just reading at the BIAB site (www.pgmusic.com) that with version 12 you can now "pipe" BIAB playback into most Core midi-compatible sequencers and address hardware and software synths via Rax which is a realtime Audio Unit host app. (www.grantedsw.com) Has anyone been able to accomplish this successfully with Logic pro and hardware/software synths? Thanks, Jim

Subject: Hi, I'm new
Message #6535
I've been using Logic for a while now, It interests me greatly as I find it a fantastic sequencer, truely remarkable what you can do with it. I also incur all its many fustrators such as the many weird (and wonderful?) variety of bugs to be found in the software. - not a request for help... I've learnt to just live with it. Other particularly fustrating points include many of the bad moves Apple have imparted on the software: bad GUI, seperation of the zoom buttons, removal of option to try save after crash (it is now mandatory, when possible... Which I find less frequent in version 7.) And logic's inferior sound - i suspect due to method of summing. But i love it so much because it's still so so close to total sonic manipulating heaven. So yeah, just saying hello. Hope we have fun exchanging ideas/techniques/thoughts/whatever-else. If my memory does me well (which often it doesn't) i'll remember to keep popping and join in the forum. P.s. Any tips on getting round this mind bending forum layout?

My audiowerk 8 card worked fine in OS Panther using LP7.1.1 but is not recognized in OS 10.4.6 when using LP7.1.1 Is anyone aware of a driver update that can be downloaded to fix this? Would a logic upgrade to 7.2 allow the AW8 card to be recognized? Any ideas. Thanks, Jim

I'm not using an iMac, but I am using a MacBook Pro with Logic 7.2 (also Intel Core Duo). So far it's working great, and performance is quite good, amazing for a laptop. > T.C Powercore with Sony Plug-In I assume you're talking about the Powercore Firewire. There is no PCI slot on an iMac. Good luck.
