You need a special cable to plug in the Mac. [called a Y-cable or insert cable] One end should have a stero plug, and there be 2 mono plugs on the other end. You may only be able to get one with a 1/4" stereo plug, in this case you will also need a 1/4"-to-mini stereo adapter. Then you plug the stereo end into the Mac and the mono ends into either 3/4, 5/6 or Tape-In [which takes different kind of plugs called RCA plugs]. In fact you may find it easiest to get your hands on a 'mini-stereo to RCA' type lead. Hope this helps :) Dave Eager
