Subject: ti book fan noise cure (ish...)
Message #3501
i think ive posted this before.. the noise my 667 makes is unbelievable when the second level fan kicks in which seems to take around 30 mins using logic the way i do so i bought a little super quiet fan (bought from any components store - mine is made by pabst) hooked it up to a wall wart power supply (the usb port can power it also but i dont know how - anyone?) and point it into the back of the ti book. it keeps the whole set up cool and near silent. plus it blows air under the ti book which keeps my fingers cool too. i was less successful doing this with my dog, wife, kids, etc. andy
