I have been trying to use the next instrument function . The one in the preferences where you can set up instrument changes with a midi note, a controler...I can make changes with the wheel but I don't seem to be having any luck with notes I enter the midi number and nothing. It worked in L6 but in L7 I can't seem to get it to work. Not sure if it's pilot error or an insect.

Hello Judith, Perhaps you could use a stock EXS Grand Piano instrument and use the Logic Pitch Shifter plug-in to create the out of tune effect you're looking for. Hope this helps.
