That's completely weird... I can't remember ever having seen 2
identically named objects in the same directory. Heck, I would even
have sworn that it's impossible. Mighty annoying... And it also
means that some strange routines are used -- normal I/O routines
would transparently use the alias without even noticing that it's an
alias...
