Hi Ian,
There's good news. In Logic 6 with the new Project Manager, there is a great
new feature. Under the main file menu there is a new command called
"save as project". Logic can then save all the relevant files for
your song in one location; including EXS instruments, samples, plugin
settings, audio files, etc. It really is very intelligently laid out. You
can even save unused audio to a spearate folder. And you have many options
as to wether you "move" or "copy" each calss of file,
etc. It's very elegant. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this
on the LUG.
And FTR, I still haven't given up the ghost on my old SC ll card!!
Softsamplecell may be cool. But EXS is waaay cooler.
