This is a reply to #8929.
Does posting wishes for the EXS24 on this list have any real impact? I've done it a few times because I know we have Emagic beta testers in here. But does anyone at Emagic really listen to any of our rhetoric? It would be nice to know. Seems there's no place intense users of the EXS24 have a collective voice for lobbying Emagic. This is as good a place as any. I hope someone out there is listening to us. Some things like drag and drop support have floated by us for several years now; you start to get the impression that these important requests are completely ignored. Routing and Giga support is great, but there are elementary shortcomings that make competing products much more attractive to many people, not enough for me to jump ship... but still. Example: everyone at the local keyboard department I shop at has switched to Kontakt because of ease of programming. My point is, this isn't trivial. Emagic is losing business because of this. You'd think someone would care what the most advanced and intermediate users think. I'll get down off my soap box now, but I hope we are not all just screaming into the wind. Global control over all elements and drag and drop are a must. Emapple, stop dragging your feet and start dragging my samples! -Jer
