As far as ADSR settings are concerned, that's what I've been working with but the feel just isn't quite right. I can get close but only with snares that have a fairly soft attack to begin with. I will have to try sample start as an alternative. That might solve the attack curve issues that don't feel right with the ADSR. "have you ever tried hyperedit in drum mode for velocity editing?" I have not tried hyperedit but I should check it out. I guess I'm used to the Matrix environment. I usually select all of the notes in a sequence and set each notes length to 1 tick via the transform function. Thanks, Matt
