Personally I am waiting on more conversions, too - but e.g. I´d like to have ASR-10 conversion, some others need Roland and so on... sounds like a difficult task to decide which ones are necessary and which not. Speaking of 3rd party progs, it has taken a looooong time until Chicken Systems have had their "Translator" up and running - and they are still fixing bugs despite adding new features. The whole Translator is more expensive (at least for us in Germany) than the EXS-24 sampler, another point. And as for Emagic not listening: They may not write back to you, but be asured that they *are* listening. Being part of the beta test program, I know very well about what I´m talking here. And there *are* things to come for the EXS-24 as well... One last thing: Steinberg have "announced" something "secret" and a lot of insiders tend to think that it will be a competitive sampler to the EXS-24. We´ll see what it can, when it´s out - and we´ll see how Emagic reacts on this approach. Thomas
