Subject: Re: [exs] PC to Mac EXS24 Utility
Message #3624
This is a reply to #3622.
I didn't mean to imply that there definitely was a compatibility problem with regard to the recent EXS post. But many times, I have downloaded kits from the internet that did not function without Creator/Type conversion. I offered this utility as a general tool, not as a specific requirement for this particular situation. I've had to use this at times when copying instruments on a client's PC to their Mac and in one case after converting samples with Translator and moving them to the Mac (the Translator issue may not be a problem in general but it was an issue in one situation). My original post stated the appropriate answer to the question of WAVs on a Mac. I us Mac folks can read WAVs (PC EXS users can use AIFFs too). However, I'm sure the utility I offered will come in handy in the future for some people. > From: "Paul C." <horseless.paul@...> > Reply-To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com > Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2002 19:17:28 +0000 > To: <exs-users@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: Re: [exs] PC to Mac EXS24 Utility > > Mine didn't need converting, why, as a matter of interest? > Paul. > G4 450 Dual LAMG 768 AW8 > OS 9.2 > -- > Paul Crouch > horselesspaul > music to watch grills by > > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > exs-users-unsubscribe@egroups.com > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
