Here are some examples of ways I use groups:
1. Toms are loud enough in comparison with each other but all of them need
to be louder against the rest of the kit:
Solution: Raise the dB level of the tom group as a whole..
2. I want to make a "mute group" (ie closed hats make open hats
stop).
Solution: Assign hats to the same group and tell the group that it is only
allowed one voice at a time.
Basically, any time you want to edit parameters of a number of sounds
together - (sort of batch processing !!!) put them in a group.
