No, works inbetween drives as well (and that's even a must, just imagine you have to change your drive structuring). There's only two situations where the EXS won't find the correct samples: - If they are on another drive than the one you specified (if at all) in your EXS preferences. Nothing too bad, you can just switch that preference to "all volumes" or change the drive letter. - If the EXS finds a sample of the same name more than three times (easily happening with drums). Whenever the required file doesn't show up in the first three choices you're somewhat screwed. In this case the only way to get your samples back properly would be to temporarily move the folders containing the wrong samples (with the right name) temporarily to another drive letter or zip them up or whatever. I have been pretty much annoyed about this (among other things with the EXS) and seriously hope that it will be adressed asap. Regards, Sascha
