This is a reply to #2602.
>I haven't checked the patches yet, but I wanted to ask you... If you don¹t >use the EXS for drums, what do you use???? I'm not Sascha, but I can recommend 1. Native Instruments Battery. I like it very much. It's easy to work with and has some great creative possibilities. Also comes with a buch of original kits elektro kits. But you have to be working in the style to favour that. 2. FXpansion Dr-008 is also a very good drumsampler, with additional synth drum modules en several levels of editing. That's why it takes some more time to master it. That's kept me from using it a lot until now, compared to Battery. It's however more flexible than everything else on the market (and has a very good price!). Not much working content included though. FXpansion being a small company Sascha has a point in stating that user wishes will be implemented faster than with NI. Although the guys at NI are also quite communicative. DR-008 can be considered as combining the best of both worlds of NI's Battery (samples - no filter) and Waldorf's Attack (analog synthdrums with filtering and delay effects) on a kind of 'budget' level. Don't get me wrong about that. It's not a budget machine in that kind of way! BTW: I downloaded the NordKit for use in Battery and DR-008 :-). Nice synth drums!
