Here's a suggestion: older samplers (I'm a former Roland sampler user) had an alternate loop option, i.e. the lopp is played back forward, then backwards, then forward and so on. AFAIK no software sampler allows for this, though often a good loop can be achieved this way when it's difficult to get a good loop with the standard forward-only method. This could be integrated into Keymap. I know CDXtract can "unroll" alternate loops in existing samples, but it cannot create new ones. Another comment: browsing through the user's guide I found the following sentence: "Keymap is also not a plugin, and you can’t place it in a Logic channel strip" (page 5). It's probably not of much practical use, but this actually might be possible using Jack: http://www.jackosx.com/ And, in my very humble opinion, the Keymap user's guide *really* needs a table of contents... ;-) Ingo
