Subject: old software - new libraries?
Message #15705
Hello, I've got aproblem because of my old equipment and my search for suitable sample-libraries. My computer: i-Mac(Snow) DV-SE 500 MHz G3, 256 MB, Mac OS 9.0.4 - 9.2.2; sequencer: Logic Audio Gold 4.6; sampler: EXS24 1.0. How is it possible to upgrade to a newer Logic version like 6? What are the system-requirements of it? May I get/buy a key for logic 6? Another point of thinking: If I'd buy one of the new available sample-libraries made for EXS24, for instance "Advanced Orchestra Extended" or "Ethno World 2", would the old version 1.0 be able to read them? It wouldn't be necessary to make all new features working, but could I use the sample-instruments? Who can help a little? Yours - Titus
